I worked really hard this evening on generating the little image at the top of the toolbar in the address field. You know, the little house before the http://www.azsearchforhomes.com
This little 3 hour project is called a favicon and it really serves no purpose besides…hmm, well I guess it’s just kinda cool looking. Maybe it will serve as a bit of brand recognition for the site.
Enjoy and thanks for visiting…

So, I also have a “favicon” on my website, but when using Internet Explorer, I cannot see yours or mine, or any other for that matter. It is just the “e” logo for Internet Explorer. When I use Mozilla to get on the internet, then I can see them. Any idea how to fix this on Internet Explorer? I would hate for your 3 hours to go to waste for anyone using Explorer? By the way, spending 3 hours on something like this sounds like something I would do. Again, are we related?
Hmm interesting, what version of explorer are you using? I would assume an older version may not be compatible, especially if you do not see any favicons on other websites. Maybe also trying clearing your cache???
FYI: I don’t use explorer, but I did have my wife test it on her PC and it was displaying ok…she has version 7.
Yes, I would hate for that 3 hours of a Sunday evening to go to waste…hehe!
Thanks for the post!
